I have a piece of art in the new book; Blood and Thunder. Keen followers will have seen it before in full colour, but all the art in the book is being printed with traditional two colour screenprinting, so I re-coloured the work in orange and brown…

It’s been a little hectic so I thought I’d post a quick brush and pen sketch I did last year. Drawn quickly using a sable #2 brush and Gillott 404 dip pen with india ink. I adjusted the colour balance in Photoshop.

Here are the sketch and final art for a set of three illustrations for The Cancer Council. They ran in the large newspapers last year. This is a little different to most of the work I do, but I learnt a lot from it.
