Stanley Awards 2010
Just got back from the 2010 ACA Stanley Awards in Melbourne and feeling a little foggy still! Caught up with old friends, made some new ones, talked shop, got drunk, and even learned a few things. What more could you ask for? The special guests this year were the great Stan Goldberg (of Archie fame) and Jason Seiler, painter extraordinaire.
I was even lucky enough to win the Stan Cross (‘Stanley’) for Illustrator 2010! What an honour – it was tough competition and I was quite surprised to be chosen. I was also nominated for the Graphic Media Artist category.

It’s a shame the spectator cover cut off the blindfoldeded clown though – he’s the best!
Thanks Mr! Yeah, I was a bit bummed about that, but I can see why they did it. Oh well.
