Inking Workshop – Stanley Awards Conference 2011
Just a reminder that I’m doing an inking workshop at the Australian Cartoonists Association’s Stanley’s Weekend Conference next friday (the conference runs Fri 11th and Sat 12th November). I’ll be doing an overview of both traditional and digital inking, drawing live, and hoping to impart some tips, tricks and techniques to help develop your inking skills.

I’m honoured to be included in the lineup, which includes Reg Mombassa, Eric Lobbecke, Cathy Wilcox, Bruce Petty, Glen LeLivere, David Follett, Roger Fletcher, Leigh Hobbs, and the legendary Ron Cobb. Of course, I’ve left out a lot of talented folk, but you can see the full list and more info at the ACA Stanleys page.
From what I’ve heard, the awards are a sellout, but there are still some tickets left for the conference. The conference is open to all – you don’t have to be an ACA member. Please contact Jules Faber Jules Faber at deputy@cartoonists.org.au to register – but do it soon… like, now!
Anton, do you know if your overview is going to be filmed? I’d really like to see it.
BTW: Hope you win the Gold Stanley…you deserve it!
