Defending the ABC
I had to read the editor's brief on this a few times to make sure I was understanding it correctly! You see, The Spectator Australia has been critical of the ABC in the past, but this editorial defends them against attacks from other media (which includes high profile conservatists) in relation to the breaking of the Indonesian spying story. Why? On the grounds of editorial independence. A great leader story well worth a read.
