Just had word my Usagi Yojimbo tribute original inks are going up for auction at the Sakai Fundraiser! Here's a scan, drawn on A3 paper:
By the way, the description isn't quite right: the piece was drawn with brush and ink (and wash) on watercolour drawing paper.
Thanks for stopping by. Now get bidding!
If you're Coffs Harbour way this Friday night, pop into the Bunker Cartoon Gallery for the opening of James Brennan, Dave Derret and my shows. Here's the Bunker's April flyer... please click for a closer look.
I've named mine INK & PIXELS, and it is a collection of illustration and cartoons that have been published in magazines and comics. All art on show is available unsigned at extremely affordable prices, and for the early birds there are some choice signed archival giclee prints going much cheaper than at my shop.

I'll be at the opening of the Cartoons Galore! exhibition at Top Ryde Shopping Centre this Saturday to soak up lots of nice art from Aussie cartoonists. It's part of the Hungry for Art festival and should be fun. I have a few prints in there, too. Please come along!
The Cartoons Galore! exhibition will be located on the Ground Floor of Top Ryde City (Just outside Myers) and will run from the 24th of August 2013 to the 7th of September 2013.
The official opening is on Saturday the 24th of August at 12-noon (12-noon to 2pm).
Members of the Australian Cartoonists' Association will be present to draw live, talk to the public about cartooning and drawing, offer free caricatures, etc...
Over 60 cartoonists will have work exhibited, from gag-cartoons, comic-strips, book illustrations, graphic-novel pages, comics pages, editorial/political cartoons, magazine illustrations, etc...
(From Hagen's blog)
Thanks to Christophe Granet (Hagen) and the ACA for doing a stellar job with this. Dealing with cartoonists can be like herding cats who are herding cartoonists.
After putting this off for years, I've finally set up a shop - and it's right here on this very site. Yep, just head to http://shop.antonemdin.com/ for all your artilicious goodness. All prints are guaranteed gluten-free, and original art is packed with nutrients.
Thanks for stopping by,
Here are a few recent commissions. I don't have time to do many of these, but they can be quite enjoyable - especially upon learning that the recipients love the finished art...Read More

A Bit of the Process...
A little bit of video for you. Here's me doing some quick, initial sketching. No music, cruddy quality, but hey... as the kids say, whatev's.
And three of me sketching it up a little tighter. I usually take a few passes at the sketches until I get it right.
The final sketch and inks:
And here's the design on a few different colours, including t-shirt fabric to make sure all the colours sing:
Thanks for looking, and remember to head on down to the Colourful Language page to grab some gear.
