Joe Lyons Cover Art

This is my second dead Prime Minister in the last month or so! This time it's Labor turned Conservative Joe Lyons, who served from 1932 - 1939, drawn for the cover of Spectator Australia.

This one's all hand-drawn digital. Below are the thumbnails, sketch (in the template), inks, and final colour again.

There wasn't much of a hook in the story, so I latched on to the title "Forgotten Man" and portrayed him coming out of the shadows, so to speak. The editor chose the lightbulb concept, and I went from there.
